Disclosures

One page linking to everything we disclose about how BestDog.Food operates — advertising, affiliate links, veterinary review, and editorial independence.

Last updated: August 2026

Why This Page Exists

BestDog.Food keeps separate, detailed pages for each specific disclosure so they’re easy to find and easy to update. This page is a single starting point linking to all of them.

We think this beats one long combined “disclosures” document covering advertising, affiliate links, and editorial process all at once — a reader looking for a specific answer shouldn’t have to wade through five unrelated sections to find it, and we shouldn’t have to touch an unrelated section every time one policy changes.

Advertising Disclosure

BestDog.Food displays advertising, including through Google AdSense and Mediavine, to support the site. Ads and advertising partnerships never influence which products we cover or how we rate them. Full detail on advertising cookies is in our Privacy Policy.

If our advertising setup expands to include additional networks beyond what’s named here, this page and the Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect that before those changes go live.

Why Disclosure Matters to Us

Sites in the pet-product space run on a mix of incentives — advertising revenue, affiliate commissions, occasional product samples from brands. None of that is inherently a problem, but it becomes one when it’s hidden, especially on a site whose recommendations can shape what a dog eats every day. Our position is simple: tell readers plainly what financial relationships exist, and keep every one of them from touching the actual veterinary review or editorial judgment behind a guide.

Why This Hub Exists Separately from a Single Combined Document

We keep each disclosure as its own page rather than combining everything into one long legal document. A combined document is harder to keep current — a change to how our advertising works risks accidentally going out of sync with an unrelated section about veterinary review nearby. Separate pages mean each one can be updated on its own timeline, and a reader looking for one specific answer doesn’t have to wade through everything else to find it.

Why We Keep Veterinary Review Separate from Commercial Terms

Dr. Kumar’s clinical review doesn’t touch our advertising or affiliate arrangements, and our advertising and affiliate arrangements don’t touch his clinical review. That separation isn’t a formality mentioned once and forgotten — it’s a structural choice we repeat across every disclosure page linked above, because a pet nutrition site that let those two things blend together would be putting commercial interest ahead of a dog’s actual wellbeing.

Questions

If none of these pages answer your question, email us directly:

We’d rather you leave this page having read one relevant policy in full than skim six unrelated ones and retain nothing. That’s the entire design goal here.

And if you’ve read through everything linked above and still feel like something about how this site operates hasn’t been said plainly enough, tell us that too — a gap in our disclosures is exactly the kind of thing we’d rather fix than leave unaddressed.
